Each year UMES holds a two day orientation for students who are new to the Faculty of Engineering. As a part of the event, UMES provides the students with numerous informative seminars each day, as well as a social event each evening. As the students do not pay a fee to attend, UMES must cover all costs related to food as well as any additional activities that are planned. Your sponsorship money will be used to subsidize these items, helping to provide students with a positive first impression of engineering.

As a day sponsor for this event, your company will be given the opportunity to give a presentation to the new engineering student recruits. In addition, you will be provided banner space and your company logo will be printed on student hand-outs and name tags.
