UMES hosts a competition to find the most innovative engineering students within their ranks to represent the school at the prestigious Western and Canadian Engineering Competitions. The competitions test the participant’s ability to solve difficult problems in a short timeframe with a limited budget, and present their solution to a panel of judges. Your sponsorship dollars will go towards purchasing improved materials for the competition, as well as subsidizing travel expenses for the winners. This year’s UMEC will also feature a debate competition.

As a general sponsor, your company will be provided with banner space for the duration of the competition. In addition, you will be able to send one employee as a judge for the competition and to interact with students throughout the competition.
